Why We Built This Site
Public court information in Gage County is spread across two trial courts, two judicial clerks, statewide search services, a calendar service, and rules on access. The practical problem is often not whether a public case record exists, but which court keeps it. County Court holds the local traffic, misdemeanor, ordinance, probate, small-claims, and preliminary-felony route. The Clerk of the District Court maintains District Court criminal, civil, domestic-relations, judgment, and appeal files. This resource brings those official paths together so a reader can begin with the correct custodian.
What You Will Find Here
The site organizes the available official channels by the question a reader needs to answer. Links point to the state services and court offices that control the records.
- Docket routes: the local distinction between criminal docket search and civil docket search.
- Hearing information: the official calendar route and clerk fallback for court dates.
- Case tools: name and number methods through case lookup.
- Record requests: the difference between a Register, a filed document, and a certified copy in court record search.
What We Cannot Do
This is not a Gage County, Nebraska Judicial Branch, court, or clerk office. It cannot retrieve an official file, give an answer about a specific case, or make a court change. Only the court that owns a case and its clerk can issue an official or certified record.
- We cannot schedule, move, reset, or cancel a hearing.
- We cannot seal, correct, remove, or amend a court entry.
- We cannot issue a certified docket, order, judgment, or case file.
- We cannot provide legal advice or interpret a case for an individual.
- We cannot promise that a court date, fee, office detail, or third-party result is current.
For an official Gage County record, verify the court type, provide the case number, and contact the County Court clerk or Clerk of the District Court that maintains the original file.
Search Partners
Some content pages contain a search box operated by an outside provider. That provider sets its own service, result display, and any paid terms. A referral fee may be earned when a visitor completes a paid transaction through one of those services. The site does not control those providers, and their results do not replace the official Nebraska JUSTICE search, the court calendar, or a clerk-issued record.
